Mir ging im Leben,

so manches daneben,

ich wurde zu früh schon gebor’n

Hatte wie 'n Hase,

fast gar keine Nase

dafür zwei riesige Ohr’n.

Selbst Tante Jette,

die sagte, sie hätte

noch nie so’n Vogel geseh’n.

Keiner, keiner

fand irgendwas an mir schön

Das mit den Ohren,

das hat sich verloren,

am Kopf ist jetzt fast alles normal.

so groß wie zwei Bratschen,

das wird mir allmählich zur Qual.

Für die Verwandten

und alle Bekannten

muß ich immer Einkaufen geh’n.
