Oh thinker will you come to bed

My eyes are heavy swollen and red

My worries like the tide came in

They’ve always been

Every shake down I withstand

Drains more spirit from my begging hands

I’ve given more than I’ll get back so I won’t ask

Its glorious how it came down

The wall was hard like stone

If I’d been warm when you showed up

I’d be home

I nearly lost my mind again

To a nymph I was desperate to obtain

I do not dwell on wasted hours

It leaves me sour
