Ist verrückt wie die Zeit vergeht, wenn du oben bist

Und wie die Zeiger rasen

Merkst du erst nach ein paar Jahren

Doch bis dahin hast du angefangen es sein zu lassen

Das sind meine 80 Jahre, also mach ich was ich liebe

Was ich krieg ist mir egal, auch wenn ich noch so viel verdiene

Weil was du aus deinem Leben machst im Endeffekt bei dir liegt

Nur frag dich bist das du oder wer anders in dem Spiegel?

Meine Tage sind begrenzt, deshalb grenz ich mich nicht ein

Ihr habt Normen aus Beton und damit klemmt ihr jeden ein

Eure Wände haben mich eingeengt

Ich hab mich in was reingezwängt

Doch das hier ist meine Welt

Deshalb hab ich mich freigesprengt

Gleichgewicht mit mir, doch brauch keine Vernunft

Ja das alles ist ein Teil meiner Kunst

Also hol ich alles raus aus meinen Tagen und ich treib mich herum

Denn genau das ist was Freigeister tun

Also merk dir

Only sun, no lows in sight

It's crazy how time flies when you're on top

And how the hands race

You only notice after a few years

But by then you've started letting it be

This is my 80 years, so I'm doing what I love

I don't care what I get, no matter how much I earn

Because what you make of your life is ultimately up to you

Just ask yourself is that you or who else in the mirror?

My days are limited so I don't limit myself

You have norms made of concrete and you pinch everyone with them

Your walls have constrained me

I squeezed myself into something

But this is my world

That's why I blew myself free

Balance with me, but need no reason

Yes all of this is part of my art

So I make the most of my days and I hang around

Because that's exactly what free spirits do
