O passado frágil corre pra se proteger

Tranca a porta e fecha as cortinas

O presente do futuro que tem que acontecer

Chega e se pronuncia

E logo ao escutar

A voz de outro alguém

O velho se põe a gritar

Espernear, tenta abafar

A inevitável mudança

Do ponto cego da história brotam vozes de resistência e de luta

Quando o oprimido finalmente se expressa o resto, cala e escuta

Tirando aqueles que nunca querem ouvir

Fecham os olhos e sonham com aquilo que nunca mais será
