Confusion - Darkness Divided

I remember,

When I though I understood,

All I needed, To understand.

But those days passed,

Before my eyes,

As fast as the,

Quick sand.

It’s when you’re content,

In the life you’re living,

When it’s taken away,

In the midst of your happiness,

You’re life will tether.

Broken dreams,

Failed plans,

Losing hope,

Fading fast.

When you’re all in,

What else can you give?

When it’s all gone,

How will you live?

The knocking door,

Whispering wind,

It’s not by chance,

That you can still win.

Who is the one who speaks in my ear,

What is this hand that wipes my tears,

What is the comfort for my fears,

And why does this being even care?

I’m lost,

You found,

My way,

For me

I have seen the greatness of the LORD,

Forget my plans, I now live for Your’s.
