Je regarde ces êtres masqués autour de moi

Qui sont-ils?

Que me veulent-ils?

Que font-ils autour de mon corps inerte?

De ma hauteur je peux contempler

Le sang et la haine de ce qui fut jadis

Mon corps et ma vie.

Je sens une force en moi

Me guider ailleurs, loin de ce monde

Par delà cette chair, par delà cette ombre.

Cet esprit rayonnant en face de moi

M’attire et m’enveloppe

Comme si je ne pouvais y réchapper.

C’est ma destiné qui m’appelle,

La fin de toute chose

Et le commencement d’une autre.

Mais soudain tout s’assombrit.

Et les tambours de nouveau retentirent

Comme Pour marquer mon retour à la mort

Je ne voulais pourtant pas revenir

Et tout est à recommencer

Pourquoi m’avez-vous remené?

Je vous déteste.

I watch these masked beings around me

Who are they?

What do they want from me?

What are they doing around my inert body?

From my height I can contemplate

The blood and the hate of what was once

My body and my life.

I feel a strength in me

Guide me somewhere else, far from this world

Beyond this flesh, beyond this shadow.

This radiant spirit in front of me

attracts me and envelops me

Like I couldn't escape it.

It's my destiny calling me,

The end of everything

And the beginning of another.

But suddenly everything darkens.

And the drums sounded again

Like To mark my return to death
