Scheiße, ich hab schon wieder die CDs vertauscht

Ich zieh kur Kippen am Automaten vom Nachbarshaus

Ich brauch Espresso, doch die Bar macht erst um sechs auf

Also zum Bäcker, belegtes Brötchen, Kakao und die News durchgeblättert,

ein bisschen Smalltalk und raus

Ich mach ´ne Kippe an und pust den Rauch aus

«Pass auf» ist das letzte, was ich hörte, und dann ging das Licht aus

Vielleicht wach ich irgendwann auf und ich krieg die Chance, den rechten Weg zu

gehen

Diesmal mach ich es auch

Ich lauf, dreh den Walkman auf laut

Hab mir gerade gestern die besten Classics der Sechziger extra billig gekauft

Ich seh die Espressobar, der Besitzer schließt gerade auf

Seh ihn´ne Marlboro rauchen, ist wohl vom Automaten vom Nachbarhaus

Ich geh zum Bäcker für Brötchen und der Kakao ist aus

Am Tresen ´ne gelesene Zeitung, ich schlag die News auf

Da fällt mir auf, neben mir ist es ziemlich laut, zwei Typen reden

Einer sagt: «Ich hab zugerufen: Pass doch auf!

Kurz vor dem Aufprall hab ich

weggesehen

Ich hoff, der Kerl wacht wieder auf, er hat doch einfach nicht nach rechts

gesehen»

Shit, I switched CDs again

I'm pulling cigarette butts from the machine next door

I need espresso, but the bar doesn't open until six

So to the bakery, sandwiches, cocoa and flipped through the news,

a little small talk and out

I'll light a fag and blow out the smoke

"Look out" is the last thing I heard, and then the lights went out

Maybe someday I'll wake up and I'll get a chance to find the right path

I see the espresso bar, the owner is just opening the door

I go to the bakery for buns and the cocoa is out

At the counter I read a newspaper, I open the news

That's when I notice that it's pretty loud next to me, two guys are talking

One says: «I called out: Watch out!
