A corpse… Embodiment of death

Layers of humanity

Slowly deteriorate

Into morbid forms

Skeletal grotesquery

My altar — of rotting flesh

Icon of foul deeds

My worship — of endless death

Praise on your knees!

Yet in death the corpse

Squirms with new life

Maggots gnaw the flesh

To the bone

Biological Iconoclasm!

Amass the larvae

Into a Chalice

A twitching eucharist

For the congregation
