Ich hätt nicht viel zu tun

Ich legte vormittags ein Ei

Und abends wär ich frei

Und fände ich das große Los

Dann fräße ich es bloß

Ich brauchte nie mehr ins Büro

Ich wäre dämlich, aber froh

Und sonntags auch mal zwei

Der Mann hats auf der Welt nicht leicht

Das Kämpfen ist sein Zweck

Er lebt, wenn’s hoch kommt, hundert Jahr

Und bringt’s bei gutem Start

Und nur, wenn er sehr fleißig war
