Eine kleine Frühlingsweise

Nimmt mein Herz mit auf die Reise

In die schöne weite Welt hinaus

Dort, wo bunte Blumen blühen

Dort, wo weiße Wolken ziehen

Steht am Waldesrand ein Haus

Still, ohne Sorgen, friedlich geborgen

Liegt dort die Welt im Sonnenschein

Unter uralten Bäumen lässt es sich träumen

In den gold’nen Frühlingstag hinein

Alle Bienen summen leise

Meine kleine Frühlingsweise

Bunte Falter flattern hin und her

Die Natur auf allen Wegen

Streut den schönsten Blütensegen

Und die Rosen duften süß und schwer

Doch wie bald ist all diese Pracht entschwunden

Die ein schöner Tag uns im Mai gebracht

Denn ein kalter Reif hat in nebelgrauen Stunden

Alles Grün vernichtet in einer Nacht

Längst schon sind verstummt alle Vöglein auf den Zweigen

Auch die Falter tanzen nicht mehr ihren Reigen

Selbst die alten Bäume hüllen frierend sich in Schweigen

Und den kleinen Blümlein ist so traurig zumut

Da ertönt ganz leise, leise

Meine kleine Frühlingsweise

Bis die gold’ne Sonne strahlend lacht

Und die Blumen blühen

Kinder, auch die Wolken ziehen wieder

Und vergessen ist die kalte Nacht

Freut euch der Jugend

Nutzt jede Stunde

Wenn euch die Sonne scheint im Mai

Sucht die Schönheit im Leben

Steht nicht daneben

Denn der Frühling geht ja doch so schnell vorbei

Where colorful flowers bloom

There where white clouds move

There is a house at the edge of the forest

Quiet, without worries, peacefully safe

Is there the world in the sunshine

You can dream under ancient trees

Into the golden spring day

My little spring tune

Colorful butterflies flutter back and forth

Nature on all paths

Scatters the most beautiful flower blessing

And the roses smell sweet and heavy

But how soon all this splendor is gone

The one beautiful day brought us in May

Because a cold frost has in foggy hours

All green destroyed in one night

All the little birds on the branches have long since fallen silent

Even the moths no longer dance their round dance

Even the old trees shroud themselves in silence

And the little flowers are so sad

It sounds very soft, soft

My little spring tune

Until the golden sun shines brightly

And the flowers are blooming

Children, the clouds are moving again too

And forget the cold night

Rejoice in youth

Use every hour

When the sun shines on you in May

Seek the beauty in life

Don't stand by

Because spring goes by so quickly
