Somewhere they’re deep in our minds

Smell of the asphalt after the rain

It disentangled the line

What if we just let all the deadwood burn down

Could we open our smoke filled eyes

And the stuff of us that’s most real

Is eternal and free

To be blessed is always to be cursed as well

Dark matter holds it all in place

So when we grind against it

Our bodies bend the empty space
