Every morning rises the idiot son

Like he’s the only one

With too much to get done

Willy spends an evening with the white light on

Trying to stay in tune

While she plays bassoon

They find a resolution but she still feels blue

Like she got nothing left to lose

What’s he to do

Willy’s finding it hard

To concentrate

On the things she’d say out loud

And he knows it’s wrong

But he decides to stay

To count the days

Until it gets all better

Well she’s off the map

She finds a substitution but she still feels blue

When she’s finding it hard
