Wir beide tanzen und ich streichel' ihren Körper

Sie lacht und sie redet und sie schaut mir in die Augen

Und meint es wär' auch an der Zeit für mich mal aufzutau’n

Das Leben wär' doch da um es zu geniessen

Und dass wir uns gefunden haben sollten wir begiessen

Und meint wir sollten jetzt mal los sie nimmt mich mit zu ihr

Susi liegt jetzt neben mir is' fertig und verschwizt

Auf den Nachttisch Koks und Vodkaflaschen, kein Kerzenlicht

Auf einmal sieht sie traurig aus und irgendwie geknickt

Scheint als wär' der Spaß vorbei und was anderes zurück

Sie is' am Nachdenken, Grübeln und am Überlegen

Und ich weiss es dauert nicht mehr lang' dann will sie drüber reden

Deshalb drehe ich mich zu ihr sehe sie an

Und ich flüster' ihr ins Ohr: Du, ich glaub ich pack’s jetzt dann

Und sie fängt an zu wein' doch ich geh' durch die Tür

Denn es ist mir nicht wichtig, ist ja nicht wegen mir

Ich zünde mir 'ne Kippe an obwohl ich weiss, dass ich nicht sollte

Und bin zufrieden denn ich weiss jetzt was ich wissen wollte

Ihr Spaß war nur Verzweiflung mit 'ner Pappnase

Und 'n lustigen Hut auf

And above her head she waves her left arm in the groove

Like she's waving a towel

Or swing a lasso

Woven out of a good mood to pull someone ashore

She's having a blast and I get it

There is no other way now, I want to know that now

She dances through the night

And always pulls the same thing from club to club

Saturday night

I get up and get two shots from the bar

Go to her, give her a glass and say: Here for fun

And she's happy that I'm there and yet I listened to her

We both dance and I caress her body

She laughs and she talks and she looks into my eyes

And thinks it's time for me to defrost

Life is there to be enjoyed

And that we have found each other we should water

We drink and we drink until we can't do anything anymore

She looks at me as if we were in "Gone with the Wind"

And thinks we should go now she takes me to her

Because she wants to have her fun now all alone with me

Susi is lying next to me now, she's exhausted and sweaty

Coke and vodka bottles on the bedside table, no candlelight

Suddenly she looks sad and somehow devastated

Seems the fun's over and something else in return

She's thinking, brooding and thinking

And I know it won't be long before she wants to talk about it

That's why I turn to her and look at her

And I whisper in her ear: You, I think I'll get it now

And she starts to cry, but I walk through the door

Because it's not important to me, it's not because of me

I light up a fag even though I know I shouldn't

And I'm satisfied because I now know what I wanted to know

Her fun was just desperation with a cardboard nose

And a funny hat on

It's slowly getting lighter, yes, it's day
