Из дальнего далёка,

Где стелется закат

Пришло письмо родное,

Как много лет назад,

А в том письме озябшем

Души моей тепло —

История простая,

Как в стареньком кино

Озябшее письмо!

Дыхание наших слов,

Несёт в себе оно

Тепло от рук и слов,

Озябшее письмо

Из тех далёких лет,

Где Вера и Любовь

Несут Надежды свет!

Ты в скромненькой однушке

Уложишь сына спать,

Прикосновение губ моих

Ты будешь вспоминать

Прижмёшь к груди своей

Частичку той любви,

И будешь согреваться

Дыханием моим!

Читая эти строки,

Ты тяжело вздохнёшь

И глядя в тьму ночную,

Задумавшись, поймёшь:

Что нет, не умирает

Красивая мечта,

А всех сильней на свете

Любовь и красота
