Society, has values that you must uphold

Think for yourself, don’t swallow what you’re told

Beauty and Wealth, the media obsesses with them

These images, to which we all aspire

Financial gain, unrealistic expectations

And those who fail, are thrown upon the pile

Small triumphs that I see

Mean so much more to me

And every day, is just another struggle

We make our way, in spite of all the lies

What does it mean and, what will we leave behind
