Когда взойдет луна,

Свои огни зажгут дома.

Глаза закрою в тишине,

И вспомню вновь я о тебе…

Обычным летним днем,

В кафе сидели мы вдвоем.

Тогда мы не скрывали слез,

И было все у нас всерьез.

В центре городка — вокзал,

А ты — молчал…

На столе письмо из прошлых лет,

Словно неподвластный долгий сон

Разорву конверт.

Ты все ждешь меня в нашем городке,

Где все просто и знакомо,

Но обратно не вернуться мне.

Казалось в эти дни прощались ненадолго мы,

Ты ничего мне не сказал и в этот миг не удержал,

Поспешный бой часов, не дождалась твоих я слов;

Звезда сгорела в небесах,

Я помню слезы на глазах,

И печальный тот вокзал,

Где ты молчал…

An ordinary summer day

We were sitting in a cafe together.

Then we did not hide the tears,

And everything was serious with us.

In the center of the town there is a railway station,

And you were silent...

On the table is a letter from past years,

Like an uncontrollable long dream

I'll rip the envelope.

You are all waiting for me in our town,

Where everything is simple and familiar,

But I can't come back.

It seemed these days we said goodbye for a while,

You didn’t say anything to me and didn’t hold back at that moment,

The hasty chime of the clock, I did not wait for your words;

A star burned out in the sky

I remember tears in my eyes

And that sad station

Where were you silent...
