piosenka nad Wisłą i piasek Mazowsza.

Są zmierzchy na fiordach i cienie piramid,

i zorze polarne, i sen pod palmami,

stubarwne motyle, baśniowe ogrody

i miasta w ogrodach cudownej urody.

Być może…

Być może, być może, że wszystko gdzieś lepsze

i ptaki, i gwiazdy, i śpiew, i powietrze,

że były gdzieś nawet szczęśliwsze narody

i drzewa wdzięczniejsze od wierzby u wody.

Być może…

Perhaps there are more beautiful lands elsewhere

and starry nights and brighter mornings,

perhaps, greener is more lush

and the birds in the branches sing more joyfully.

a song by the Vistula and the sand of Mazowsze.

There are twilight in the fjords and shadows of the pyramids

and the auroras, and sleep under palm trees,

multicolored butterflies, fairy-tale gardens

and cities with gardens of wonderful beauty.

and the birds, and the stars, and the song, and the air,

that there were even happier nations somewhere

and trees more graceful than willows by the water.
