Così tornando ti porto un regalo

quel fondotinta che ti piace sul viso

ti sveglierò bussando più forte

alla tua porta.

L’esigenza di starti vicino

è più grande ogni giorno che passa

e mi ritrovo da solo a pensarti

troppo spesso.

Io ti conosco

tu mi sembravi quasi un’artista

in quei momenti dolci di malinconia

e ti lasciavo andare sempre via.

Invece ora io vorrei

sconfiggere con gli occhi gli occhi tuoi

e domandarmi quanto t’amo

ancora un pò di più.

Ed ora amore mio

che manca un attimo

mi fermo a un passo dalla tua porta

a perdonarti tutto in una volta

e un’altra ancora io mi troverò solo con te a stringerti più forte contro me a domandarmi se mi ami o no.

Che strano sentimento.

Io ti conosco

ti inventerai un’altra poesia

in un momento dolce di malinconia

per non lasciarmi sempre via.
