На рябине вороны

Топоры вострили

Все четыре стороны

Смутою крестили

Разыгрались ражисто

Смерчем чёрным грая

Люд разбойный кряжистый

По лесам сбирая

Бороды всклокочены

Спьяну скисли очи

Встали у обочины

Дожидаться ночи

На дубины больные

Извели дубравы

Хворые да вольные

Нет на них управы

Веселился висельник

На сухой осине

Пел плясал да скоро сник

От натуги синий

Мужички суровые

Поскребли затылки

Мысли нездоровые

Ил на дне бутылки

Crows on the mountain ash

Axes stabbed

All four sides

They baptized in confusion

Played out vigorously

Black whirlwind

Robbery thick-set people

Gathering through the forests

Beards are tousled

Drunk sour eyes

We got up at the curb

wait for the night

On clubs sick

Oak groves exhausted

Sick and free

They have no control

The gallows had fun

On a dry aspen

Sang danced and soon wilted

Blue from the effort

The peasants are harsh

Scratched the backs of their heads

Thoughts are unhealthy

Silt at the bottom of the bottle
