Колокольные звоны плывут над рекой,

Я не знаю, как быть, я теряю покой…

Кровоточит душа от невидимых ран,

Я пойду, помолюсь в Симеоновский храм.

Благолепен и прост литургийный обряд.

Пахнет ладаном росным и свечи горят.

Благодатью, как светом, пронизан собор,

И поёт Херувимскую девичий хор…

Иногда мы теряем спасительный путь,

И тревожная совесть мешает уснуть.

И тогда в тишине, со слезами в глазах,

Просим русских святых помолиться о нас —

И в надежде на милость, на малую часть,

Мы готовы молящимся в ноги упасть:

«Помогите, родные, мы дети Христа.

Мы грешим, но не знаем другого отца.

Мы когда-то рискнули своею душой

И скитались по свету за лучшей судьбой,

Стороной обходили пороги церквей,

Нас пленила свобода безумных страстей…"

И от этой молитвы, от веры, от слез

В сердце горем разбитое входит Христос,

И звучит над землёй Херувимская песнь,

И Господь между нами и будет, и есть.

Bells ringing floating over the river,

I don't know what to do, I lose my peace...

The soul bleeds from invisible wounds,

I will go and pray at the Simeon Church.

Blessed and simple is the liturgical rite.

It smells of dewy incense and the candles are burning.

Grace, like light, permeated the cathedral,

And the Cherubim choir sings...

Sometimes we lose the way of salvation

And an anxious conscience makes it difficult to fall asleep.

And then in silence, with tears in my eyes,

We ask the Russian saints to pray for us -

And in hope for mercy, for a small part,

We are ready to fall at the feet of those who pray:

“Help, relatives, we are the children of Christ.

We sin, but we don't know another father.

We once risked our souls

And wandered around the world for a better fate,

Side bypassed the thresholds of churches,

We were captivated by the freedom of insane passions ... "

And from this prayer, from faith, from tears

Christ enters into a broken heart,

And the Cherubic Hymn sounds over the earth,

And the Lord will and will be between us, and is.
