Stajali smo jedni do drugih

Ponosno nasmiješenih lica

Dok smo primali maturalnu svjedodžbu od profesorica

Zadnji dan valjda da smo svi stajali skupa

Zadnji dan da smo bili ekipa

Škvadra, trupa

Izgleda ko jučer a kolko godina već prošlo je

U sjeni da ne primijetiš potiho samo nestaje

Sva veza među nama

Greška il' defekt?

Riječ prijateljstvo iz prezenta ode u perfekt

Imamo se rad

Al nemamo se baš

Danas brijemo svoj film, ne postoji onaj naš

Dal smo bili mladi naivni il' smo već tad kalkulirali

Neki su zaposlili se

Neki diplomirali

Neki su i danas još ostali djeca

Nekima se rodila djeca

Svi smo svojim putem pošli

Neki stali na po puta

Neki došli — stigli tu di su sad

Neki su napustili svoj grad

Vratit se ne možemo a i da možemo kako bi

Kad promijenili smo puteve ko kolosjeke vlakovi

Jednom u životu ekipa se naglo rastaje

Valjda to zovu odrastanje

Koliko toga je stalo sad među nas…

Kol’ko promijenili smo se

Dal smo drukčiji danas

Koliko stvari nas dijeli i razvaja…

Kako i kad se dogodila promjena

Kažu da mijenjam se

Kažu «Nek', to dobro je!»

Kažu svi su to već prošli sve

I nekad teško je

Da teško je…

Kažu da ne bojim se

Kažu al to ne tješi me

Kao, njima sve to lako je

Dižem srednjak svijete — rađe ostajem dijete

Kad se sretnemo nešto nas vraća nazad

Al šta's sad kad previše stvari se već promijenilo

Pa ajd sad ti pričaj o nečemu

Nađi zajedničku temu

Postalo je preteško pričat o bilo čemu

Sjetiš se bivšeg razreda

Lica, imena

Al grozno je kad ne možeš se sjetit svačijeg prezimena

Vidimo se rijetko pa sječanje lako blijedi

Školskoj ploči i kredi nema traga više

Sjedi svatko sam u životu

Razred više nas ne veže

I preživljavat je danas izgleda puno teže

Skupimo se svi jednom na godišnjici mature

Vrijeme stane i drago nam je opet vidjet bivše cure

Još su lijepe

Izgledamo isti samo smo stariji

Mirniji smo, ozbiljniji

Nismo skloni pizdariji ko nekad

Ko da s godinama pomalo smo otupili

Izgubili onu oštrinu

Smirili se, zaljubili

Počeli mislit samo na sebe

Sazrijeli onog dana kad su nas počeli oslovljavat sa «vi»

Sve se promijenilo al nije sad da mi nedostaje

To je sve samo odrastanje

Kažu da mijenjam se

Kažu «Nek', to dobro je!»

Kažu svi su to već prošli sve

I nekad teško je

We stood next to each other

Proudly smiling faces

While we were receiving our graduation certificate from the professors

The last day I guess we all stood together

The last day we were a team

Squadron, troop

It looks like yesterday and how many years have passed

In the shadow of not noticing quietly it just disappears

All the connection between us

Error or defect?

The word friendship from the present goes to perfect

We love each other

But we don't really have each other

Today we shave our film, there is no one of ours

Were we young naive or did we already calculate then

Some got hired

Some graduated

Some are still children today

Some had children

We all went our separate ways

Some stopped by

Some came - they arrived where they are now

Some left their city

We can't go back and we can

When we changed paths like trains trains

Once in a lifetime, the team breaks up abruptly

I guess they call it growing up

How much does it matter to us now…

How much we have changed

We are different today

How many things divide and pamper us…

How and when the change occurred

They say I'm changing

They say, "Come on, that's good!"

They say everyone has been through it all

And sometimes it's hard

Yes it's hard…

They say I'm not afraid

They say but that doesn't comfort me

Like, it's easy for them

I'm raising the middle of the world - I'd rather stay a child

When we meet something brings us back

But what now that too many things have already changed

So now you talk about something

Find a common theme

It became too difficult to talk about anything

You remember the former class

Faces, names

But it's awful when you can't remember everyone's last name

We rarely see each other, so the memory fades easily

There is no trace of the school board and chalk anymore

Everyone sits alone in life

The class no longer binds us

And surviving it today seems a lot harder

Let's all get together once on graduation anniversary

Time stands still and we are glad to see the ex-girlfriends again

They are still beautiful

We look the same only we are older

We are calmer, more serious

We're not as prone to pranks as we used to be

It's as if we've become a little numb over the years

They lost that sharpness

They calmed down, fell in love

They started thinking only of themselves

Matured the day they started calling us "you"

Everything has changed but I don't miss it now

It's all just growing up
