C’e' una stagione scritta sul calendario

e un’altra nel cuore

appassiscono i gladioli in un posto

fioriscono altrove.

Per esempio oggi e' Natale e tutti quanti si vogliono bene

ma le facce che fanno sembrano maschere da Carnevale.

Ma io no, proprio no.

sento l’estate in tutto quello che ho

e cosi' il tempo e'

un’apparenza che cambia insieme a me,

solo un abbaglio di cui non so il perche',

sento l’estate in tutto quello che c’e'.

I bambini guidati da quelli piu' grandi di loro

hanno un danno a se' stessi

e piu' grande al loro futuro.

Si appiattiscono profili e coscienze, si uniscono al coro

dei coglioni senza arte ne parte, il coro.

Ma io no, proprio no,

sento l’estate in tutto quello che ho

e cosi' il giorno e'

un grande giorno da dedicare a te.

E tutto il resto non conta e sai perche?

There is a season written on the calendar

and another in the heart

gladioli wither in one place

they flourish elsewhere.

For example, today is Christmas and everyone loves each other

but the faces they make look like carnival masks.

Children led by older ones

they harm themselves

and greater than their future.

Profiles and consciences flatten, they join the chorus

of the balls without art, the choir.

a great day to dedicate to you.
